Mixed messages? A famously outspoken feminist, Beyonce is facing backlash this week after a remix of her song "Jealous" surfaced with Chris Brown featured on the track.
Currently without an official
release or promotion from Beyonce's camp, the "Jealous" remix made its
way online on Thursday, April 2. In a since-deleted tweet, Brown, 25,
confirmed his involvement with the recording, writing on Friday morning,
"I did the jealous remix some months ago for the Beyoncé collaboration
album but it was never used. Glad you guys get to hear it."

Noticeably absent from the Platinum Edition's tracklist was a "Jealous" remix or any contribution from Brown. Bey, 33, has yet to comment on the leaked song, but is facing significant backlash from those who take issue with her working with Brown.
The Destiny's Child alum used her Beyonce album to declare herself as a feminist, even using audio from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's TED talk about feminism in her hit single "***Flawless." As Brown infamously left then-girlfriend Rihanna
with gruesome bruises after a domestic violence incident, many saw the
move of aligning with the "Loyal" singer as standing in direct conflict
to Beyonce's feminist values.

Take a listen to Brown's remix of "Jealous" above.
